POSITION OVERVIEW

The Strategic Partner Manager, Trend AI Korea, will build and scale the partner ecosystem behind Trend's AI-driven security portfolio in the Korean market. This is a strategic, relationship-led role focused on a select group of high-impact partners — global and local systems integrators, hyperscalers, telecommunications providers, and AI infrastructure and platform players — rather than broad-based partner recruitment.

Korea represents one of Asia's most sophisticated and fastest-moving AI adoption markets, with enterprise demand concentrated among large conglomerates, cloud-native digital businesses, and the public sector. The Strategic Partner Manager will own the partner strategy for this market: identifying where Trend's AI capabilities create differentiated value for partners, building joint solutions and go-to-market plans, and converting those partnerships into measurable pipeline and revenue.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and execute the strategic partner plan for Trend AI in Korea, including partner selection, joint value proposition, and revenue targets

  • Build and manage executive-level relationships with a focused portfolio of strategic partners, becoming the trusted point of contact across their sales, technical, and business development organizations

  • Develop joint go-to-market propositions that combine Trend's AI security capabilities with partner platforms, services, and industry expertise — including co-branded solutions, reference architectures, and service offerings

  • Drive co-sell motion with partners: build joint pipeline, align account plans, and work opportunities through to close alongside Trend's direct sales and partner sales teams

  • Establish and run regular partner business reviews with clear KPIs covering pipeline contribution, closed revenue, technical enablement, and joint marketing execution

  • Partner with hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google) and their Korean field organizations to leverage marketplace, co-sell, and funding programs

  • Work closely with local and regional Channel Account Managers, Regional Account Managers, and the AI product organization to ensure partner strategy is aligned to market demand and product roadmap

  • Build partner technical and sales capability through structured enablement, ensuring partners can independently position and deliver Trend's AI portfolio

  • Identify and evaluate new strategic partnership opportunities in Korea's emerging AI ecosystem, including AI platform providers, data infrastructure players, and specialist consultancies

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent TrendAI at industry conferences, partner events, trade shows, and seminars in Korea and the broader region

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of joint marketing programs and demand generation campaigns with strategic partners

  • Provide structured market feedback to product and regional leadership on Korean AI security requirements, competitive dynamics, and partner needs

  • Document and maintain all partner activity, joint pipeline, and business plans in Salesforce

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 7 years of sales, business development, or partner management experience in the enterprise IT industry, with at least 4 years in a strategic partnership, alliance, or channel leadership capacity

  • Demonstrated track record building and monetising strategic partnerships in the Korean market, ideally including experience with major Korean SIs, telecommunications providers, or cloud partners

  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity market; working knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and how they are applied in enterprise security is highly desirable

  • Proven ability to build credibility and influence at senior and executive levels, both internally and with partner organizations

  • Experience developing joint value propositions and go-to-market plans from concept through to revenue, not solely managing existing partner relationships

  • Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where the business model and portfolio continue to evolve

  • Strong commercial acumen with a consistent record of achieving or exceeding partner-sourced revenue targets

  • Fluent Korean and professional-level business English required
