About the Role

We are seeking a bilingual, Vietnam-based operations professional to manage day-to-day relationships with its co-manufacturers and key suppliers. This person will serve as the Company’s local operating representative, ensuring visibility and accountability across production, quality, packaging, inventory, and shipment readiness.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, factory-facing operator with experience in beverage, food/CPG, packaging, contract manufacturing, supply chain, or quality operations. The candidate must be fluent in Vietnamese and English and able to provide concise written updates to a U.S.-based management team.

Job Description

• Serve as the Company’s primary local contact for co-manufacturers, suppliers, and inspection providers.
• Conduct regular factory and supplier visits (announced and unannounced); monitor production, inventory, quality, packaging, and shipping readiness.
• Enforce quality management policies and specifications
• Track production schedules, raw-material and packaging availability, finished-goods inventory, quality holds, and expected shipment dates.
• Identify and escalate risks involving production delays, quality deviations, capacity constraints, inventory discrepancies, or supplier performance.
• Coordinate corrective-action plans with co-manufacturers and follow through until issues are resolved.
• Maintain a weekly/monthly/quarterly supplier operations report covering production status, quality issues, upcoming shipments, key risks, and required management decisions.
• Support supplier scorecards, factory audits, production planning, inventory reviews, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Communicate local factory conditions and supplier commitments clearly to U.S.-based team.
• Maintain confidentiality and operate within established approval authority; the role may not independently execute contracts, change commercial terms, or approve material product/specification changes.

Qualifications

Think you have what it takes? First of all, we want someone with:

• Fluent Vietnamese and strong written and spoken English.
• 5–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, food/beverage/CPG, packaging, supply chain, procurement, quality assurance, production planning, or contract manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience working directly with factories, co-manufacturers, or suppliers.
• Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, and supplier performance management.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, ISO, FSSC, or similar quality systems is preferred.
• Strong Excel, reporting, and project-management skills.
• High integrity, strong follow-through, sound judgment, and willingness to address supplier issues directly and professionally.
• Ability to work independently, travel frequently within Vietnam, and collaborate effectively with an international team.
