We are seeking applications for the position of Survey Expert in various cities across India.

Missions/Main Duties

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all survey activities required for the Urban Water Metro Project.
• Conduct and review hydrographic, bathymetric, topographic, shoreline, and navigational surveys for project planning and design.
• Carry out surveys to determine water depths, seabed/riverbed profiles, navigation channel conditions, and berth approaches.
• Perform alignment surveys, control surveys, and setting-out surveys for terminals, jetties, pontoons, access roads, and associated infrastructure.
• Establish and maintain survey control networks, benchmarks, and reference stations.
• Collect, process, analyze, and interpret survey data for engineering design and project implementation.
• Prepare bathymetric charts, contour maps, digital terrain models, hydrographic survey reports, and survey drawings.
• Support engineering teams with accurate survey information for planning, design, dredging assessments, terminal development, and navigation studies.
• Monitor changes in riverbed, channel conditions, sedimentation, and navigational routes during project implementation.
• Ensure quality assurance and accuracy of survey data in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, marine, geotechnical, environmental, and navigation experts for integrated project development.
• Review survey methodologies, contractor submissions, and deliverables.
• Assist in preparing feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), tender documents, and technical reports.

Profile/Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Survey Engineering, Hydrology, Remote Sensing & GIS, or equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of overall professional experience in engineering surveys, hydrographic investigations, and geospatial data management.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in conducting hydrographic surveys, bathymetric surveys, navigational channel surveys, topographic surveys, investigations, measurements, and related marine/inland waterway survey works.
