We are seeking an experienced senior System Administrator to join our IT team. This role is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing both our on-premises and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will demonstrate strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a proven track record of supporting complex IT environments.

You Have: 

• 3+ years of experience in system administration with on-premises and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience in Windows and Linux server administration
• Experience with network configuration, security, and troubleshooting 
• Experience with Terraform or automated infrastructure tools
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V 
• Knowledge of monitoring tools, performance optimization techniques, backup or recovery solutions, and disaster recovery planning
• Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams 
• TS/SCI clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:   

• Experience with containerization, including Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with identity and access management solutions
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines 
• Knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO, SOC, or GDPR 
• Ability to mentor junior team members and lead technical projects
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams 
• Possession of excellent communication skills
• MCSE, RHCE, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
