Job Description

• Provide professional and engaging fitness and recreational activities based on guest needs and operational requirements.
• Assist guests with the safe and appropriate use of fitness equipment and recreational facilities.
• Conduct fitness sessions, classes, personal training, or recreational activities according to individual qualifications and experience.
• Ensure fitness centers, recreation areas, equipment, and facilities are clean, organized, safe, and well maintained.
• Engage with guests and provide information on available fitness, wellness, and recreational activities.
• Promote participation in activities and create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.
• Monitor guest activities and proactively identify potential safety concerns.
• Support departmental events, activities, and wellness initiatives as required.
• Assist the Fitness & Recreation leadership team with daily operations and other duties as required.

Desired Skill & Expertise

• Previous experience in Fitness, Personal Training, Sports, Recreation, Leisure, or a related field, preferably within a hotel, resort, fitness club, or hospitality environment.
• Relevant fitness, personal training, sports, recreation, or physical education qualification/certification is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of fitness, recreation, health, and safety practices.
• Energetic, approachable, and confident when interacting with guests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest-service orientation and professional presentation.
• Ability to work effectively within a multicultural team and flexible hospitality environment.
• Additional skills or certifications in areas such as group exercise, swimming, yoga, sports coaching, or other recreational activities are an advantage.
