Teacher Assistant - Healthcare Facilitator - SMP

SAESD is looking for a Teacher assistant to assist the teacher with small groups of students or individual students based on student needs and under teacher direction as well as assisting the teacher with certain routine, clerical, administrative and non-professional duties as assigned.

The role of the Teacher assistant will be primarily to help as a Healthcare Facilitator at the school site. Any experience as a prior healthcare facilitator, or related to nursing background is preferred.

Good command of the English language required.

Candidate must have three years of full-time employment experience.

Skills Requirement

Candidate must have a good command of the English language.

Candidate must have the ability to type with reasonable speed and accuracy and to operate duplicating machines, audio and visual equipment. Candidate should demonstrate rapport with the group to which assigned.

Certificate Requirement

Minimum requirement: 60 semester hours of post-secondary credit or 2 years of academic training beyond high school and 3 years of employment experience. Any experience as a prior healthcare facilitator or related to nursing background is preferred.
