Job Description

  • Deliver high-quality UI content/assets aligned with artistic direction and quality standards.
  • Translate UX flows and wireframes into functional in-game UI.
  • Create (Figma or Adobe Photoshop) and Implement UI mockups in UE4 (UMG) using Blueprints, animations, and Materials for UI.
  • Own small UI features or co-own larger features from the UX phase into UI implementation.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, UI artists, programmers, and other disciplines.
  • Follow UX/UI workflows, implementation standards, and accessibility best practices.
  • Improve UI based on playtests, user research, and team feedback.
  • Deliver reliable estimates and meet production deadlines.

Nice to have:

  • Technical knowledge of UE4
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and accessibility.
  • Experience optimizing and debugging UMG UI.
  • Familiarity with design systems and reusable UI components

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in UI Design or Technical UI design for games.
  • Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5 UMG, Blueprints, UI animations, and materials.
  • Experience creating UI mockups for games
  • Understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and UI best practices.
  • Experience implementing production-ready UI and collaborating with programmers.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated with reliable task estimation and delivery.
  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
