Job Description

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in support engineer for our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiative troubleshooting. Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting manufacturing processes issue and involve in improvement for yield optimization project. Ensure product quality, equipment reliability, and adherence to safety and production standards. and repair of machinery, tools, and equipment used in the workplace. 

Carry out assigned tasks to uphold product quality and assist in environmental, safety, and health efforts, as well as the seamless operation of departmental business continuity activities, while adhering to company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining the smooth operation of production through monitoring of process parameters, product quality, and yield performance during shift.
  • Detect and respond to abnormal process conditions or equipment alarms.
  • Escalate issues to engineers/technicians-in-charge and assist in containment actions.
  • Support root cause analysis for process deviations and quality issues.
  • Monitor equipment performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address deviations from performance targets.
  • Involve in new expansion project and new machine installation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Record production data, process logs, and abnormal events accurately.

Qualifications

Required :

  • Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred:

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, initiative, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment operation.
  • Flexibility to work in shift, occasional evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting equipment and machine
  • Effective coordination and communication skill.
  • Intermediate knowledge in electrical wiring, PLC system, control system, pneumatics system, actuators, sensors, and their working principals

Skills:

  • Positive attitude and ability to act as team player.
  • Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, company policy and accepted safe work practices.
