• Ensure all applications under test (AUT) meet standards and remain defect-free by executing rigorous positive, negative, and regression testing.
• Conduct online, batch, and data verification testing [1] across assigned functional areas while creating detailed test designs based on client requirements.
• Formulate structured testing strategies [1] that define objectives, environment needs, resource estimates, and time requirements for technical designs.
• Develop robust test plans and test conditions [1] alongside stakeholders, utilizing data conditioning to exercise specific application pathways.
• Document accurate defect reports, track bugs through to closure, and serve as the single point of contact for small, targeted client projects.

• 2+ years of professional testing experience [1] spanning manual and automated test execution methodologies.
• Solid core banking knowledge [1] featuring a foundational understanding of the bankcard industry and relational databases.
• Familiarity with IBM Mainframe Systems [1] including hands-on exposure to TSO, JHS, or CICS environments.
• Capability to analyze problems of moderate scope [1] by reviewing varying data factors and building strong internal relationships.
• A Bachelor’s degree [1] in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).

• A "Think like a client" mindset: You master software validation across diverse methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall [1] to make sure the final product matches end-user workflows.
• An "Act like an owner" workflow: You proactively optimize procedures using automated testing tools [1] and diagnostic suites (such as HP Quality Center, SOAPUI, Selenium, UFT, LoadRunner, Putty, or Toad).
• A "Win as one team" attitude: You easily communicate environment components and testing barriers to leadership, while actively working toward your ISTQB Certification.
