The Role: Ā
Are you passionate about providing top-notch technical support and ensuring customer satisfaction? We are looking for a Tier 1 Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for our customers,Ā assistingĀ them with inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and deliveringĀ timelyĀ solutions. In this role, you will engage with customers via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a seamless experience whileĀ maintainingĀ accurateĀ records and escalating concerns when necessary.Ā Ā
Duties and Responsibilities: Ā
- Take and respond to customer live queries inĀ a timelyĀ andĀ accurateĀ way, via phone, email,Ā andĀ chatĀ Ā
- IdentifyĀ customer needs, analyze situations, and formulateĀ timelyĀ solutions to their issues toĀ retain customer satisfaction
- Update internal databases with information about technical issues and useful discussions with customersĀ
- Monitor customer complaints on all communication platforms to be able to address complaints accordinglyĀ Ā
- Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolvedĀ Ā
- Escalate customer concerns promptly as the need arisesĀ Ā
- Take notes and file logs on each customer's queries toĀ maintainĀ a record of each call, ensuring all issues and requests are addressed in the long termĀ
Qualifications:Ā Ā
- At least 1-3 years of relevant experience in Customer Service and Tech Support for eCommerce Accounts (for a seller or sales channel like Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or eBay) Ā
- Knows how to read logs, understand query and backend technicalitiesĀ Ā
- Familiarity with Order Management Software, Shipment TrackingĀ systems,Ā etc.Ā
- Experience using help desk software and remote support toolsĀ Ā
- Must have strong problem-solving skills, learning skills, and multitasking skillsĀ Ā
- Solid Customer Service experience (inbound and outbound calls, live chats, and emails)Ā Ā
- Excellent English communication skills areĀ a mustĀ (both oral and written)Ā Ā
- Experience in taking both inbound and outbound calls, technical support, troubleshooting, and live chats/email supportĀ Ā
- Competency with Microsoft Office isĀ requiredĀ Ā
- Willingness to work in our Sandy, UT office on a hybrid scheduleĀ
- Jira/Atlassian/Confluence/SalesforceĀ experienceĀ is a bonusĀ
