About this role

The Tom Minnery Fellowship for Cultural Engagement (Minnery Fellowship) Director will provide leadership for a program designed to equip pastors and church leaders to engage contemporary culture with a biblical worldview. This role involves developing curriculum, recruiting and resourcing facilitators, helping facilitators recruit participants, organizing logistics for in-person cohort meetings, and building relationships with partner organizations. The Director will ensure the Minnery Fellowship honors Tom Minnery's legacy of encouraging Christians to be "salt and light" in the culture.

 

Reports to: Church Ambassador Network Executive Director 

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Compensation: Full-time, Salaried/Exempt

Location: CCV Office in Columbus, Ohio, with occasional statewide travel

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the Minnery Fellowship operates in alignment with the organization's strategic vision for the program and overall mission and values.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and ongoing development of Fellowship facilitators and participants (pastors and church leaders). 
  • Actively participate in current cohorts and meet with all fellows to solicit regular feedback for continued improvement and maintain high annual retention rate.  
  • Cultivate relationships with partner organizations, churches, and thought leaders to build the Minnery Fellowship brand and program credibility.
  • Lead the Curriculum Creation Team (CCT) to design courses each semester focused on biblical cultural engagement, utilizing resources such as books, articles, videos, speakers and other relevant materials.
  • Support the Minnery Fellowship Curriculum Review Committee (CRC) by ensuring members are adequately prepared to discuss proposed curriculum during regularly scheduled meetings.
  • With support from the CAN Coordinator, ensure all curriculum and resources are up-to-date in the LMS System (Pathwright) and oversee the logistical arrangements for cohort meetings and events.
  • Create session summaries, Congregation Training Courses, and other materials to support Fellows in sharing key insights with their church leaders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the Minnery Fellowship and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications & Requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Strong commitment to the Christian faith and a passion and strong understanding of contemporary cultural issues and a biblical framework for addressing them.
  • Master's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in pastoral ministry or church leadership, with demonstrated ability to teach, facilitate discussions, and mentor others.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Mature Christian, currently attending or pursuing attendance in a local church.
