The Transportation Rep Lead is responsible for leading a regional team focused on the customer's business, pipeline operational considerations and overall customer experience. They will serve as the lead regional representative and the primary liaison for pipeline imbalance resolution. Customer focus, leadership and the ability to tackle sophisticated issues are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Troubleshoots customer issues as they arise; Serves as the first point of contact with customers for scheduling related issues
  • Supervises gas volumes and evaluates and reduces pipeline imbalances for shippers and operators; Communicates with Pipeline Control on confirmation and imbalance management as needed
  • Tracks and evaluates pipeline maintenance schedules and communicates proactively with customers to ensure they are well advised
  • Manages and maintains relationships with pipeline and scheduling representatives to ensure operational integrity
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma /GED and minimum ten (10) years' experience in marketing or commercial
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field

Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

  • Able to work after hours as the need arises

Other Requirements:

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Excel, and PC skills
  • Understanding of accounting principles and procedures for gas accounting
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical approach
  • Knowledge and understanding of scheduling Eastern Interstates pipelines
