About this role

JOB PURPOSE: The Transportation Specialist is responsible for transporting patients to/from facility in a company vehicle, staying with them and bringing them back. Transportation needs dependent upon supervisor.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep the vehicle neat and tidy 
  • Keep gas tank full with use of gas card.
  • Be willing to work with other staff for the coordination of patient care
  • Courteous and professional at all times. 
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Cleared by insurance.
  • Motor vehicle check.
  • This position requires employee to be 25yrs of age. 
  • Random drug screen.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Physical demands described are representative of those that must be routinely met by and employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this position.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essentials duties.

  • Ability to lift minimum 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities in a facility with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.
  • Operates a computer and keyboard.


POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

This is a full-time position. Work hours will be scheduled to accommodate a 24/7 inpatient facility.

This job operates in an inpatient facility environment.
