Expectations from a UI/UX Designer:

Understanding the blend between Interaction, UX, and Usability.

Qualifications:

We welcome applicants with any of the following disciplines:

Degree in HCI related disciplines such as UI Design, Interaction Design, Information Design, or Industrial Design, with a portfolio demonstrating an inclination towards UX Design.

Completion of workshops or certifications in UI/UX design that showcase your knowledge.

Degree in Graphic Design/Applied Arts with demonstrable know-how in UX Design.

Promising skills and knowledge in the field of design.

Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.

Advanced software skills including Adobe Suite, Figma, InVision, Balsamiq, Sketch, etc.

Deliverables:

As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will be responsible for the on-time and quality delivery of all project deliverables defined by the Lead UX Designer, including

Creating wireframes, navigation structures, and storyboards.

Developing interactive guidelines, style guides, and click-through prototypes.

Presenting information architecture in flow diagrams.

Executing research processes.

Responsibilities:

Execute deliveries required for product/project launch.

Communicate effectively within the team and with clients when necessary.

Understand the product you are working on thoroughly.

Deeply understand the needs of users or project managers.

Clearly explain your designs to the team.

Continuously upgrade knowledge by staying updated on industry trends.

Document the entire design process of projects you have worked on.

Negotiate with clients by understanding and questioning UX strategies.

Follow schedules and timelines set by the Project Manager.

Coordinate ideas internally and seek clarifications when in doubt.

Desirable: Knowledge of platform guidelines and front-end frameworks.
