Overview
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Responsibilities

Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Qualifications
Education- Graduate of an approved CAAHEP Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or an approved Sonography Program by the ARRT. Required or
- No experience required Required
- 1 year of experience Preferred
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonography Must become registered by the ARDMS within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
- Vascular Sonographers must become registered and/or RVT, RVS, RT(S), RT(VS) within (6) months of employment. within 180 Days Required and
- (BR) ARDMS or ARRT - Breast Sonography - Breast Licensure requirement for Breast Ultrasound can be met with registration through ARRT (BS) Required
- RVT - Registered Vascular Technologist Preferred
- RVS - Registered Vascular Sonographer Preferred
