Team mission

UX Research at GetYourGuide is responsible for understanding all the users we serve, the problems we solve for them, and maximizing their trust, so that decisions across product, design, and business are grounded in evidence rather than assumptions. The team combines hands-on research with the systems, tools, and processes that enable researchers and cross-functional partners to move faster and act on insights with confidence.

Within the Product and UX organisation, the Research Programs & Operations function owns the infrastructure behind that work: knowledge management, recruitment, tooling, and governance. This role will sit at the center of that function, building the programs and AI-assisted workflows that let the wider research practice scale without sacrificing quality.

Your mission

  • Design and maintain the systems, tools, and programs that help researchers and cross-functional partners turn evidence into decisions at scale, covering knowledge management, recruitment, self-serve research, tooling, and governance.
  • Spot and build AI-powered workflows that speed up the research and design process, from intake and participant recruitment through synthesis, rollout and activation.
  • You work confidently with senior stakeholders on feasibility and trade-offs, turning research into decision-ready outputs, not open-ended discussion. Builds sticky artifacts (concept visuals, posters, prototypes, one-pagers) that make ideas land.
  • Help run team meetings, discovery workshops or related forums that surface operational gaps early, size up resourcing needs, and inform the team's roadmap.
  • Advise stakeholders on the appropriate processes or tools for their specific problem and help new teams adopt these systems, e.g., by organizing training sessions.
  • Take ownership of ongoing research tool screening, vendor onboarding, security assessment, negotiations, access management and org-wide trainings.
  • Work across product, design, marketing, and business teams to shape the end-to-end customer experience, help and track the research team, tying findings back to business outcomes and KPIs.

What you need to be successful

  • 5+ years of experience in UX Research, UX Strategy, or UX Program Management in a tech organization, including exposure to research-specific operations.
  • A track record of building research systems and user panels that hold up at scale without compromising quality.
  • Refined operational know-how across qualitative incl. unmoderated interviews and quantitative research methods and choosing the right level of rigor for the situation.
  • A history of shifting major program-related decisions at the senior stakeholder level, through communication program innovation, not just reporting findings.
  • Skill in independently visualizing direction—through sketches, prototypes, service blueprints, or AI-assisted outputs—paired with a clear, hands-on point of view on how AI should reshape research workflows.
  • Familiarity with research ethics, accessibility frameworks, customer relationship (CRM), consent (NDAs), and related policies (GDPR, e-privacy, DSA, WCAG, etc.)
  • Solid business judgment (b2c, ideally also b2b), able to tie research to trade-offs and commercial impact.
  • Sound experience in vendor management, budget tracking and negotiations.
  • Concise level-specific communicator.

Extras that give you an edge

  • Experience designing or facilitating cross-functional communication programs and events at scale.
  • A sound understanding of the current research vendor and tooling landscape, a track record of negotiation wins and success in tool migrations across functions.
  • Background in building or deploying AI agents for operational use cases (e.g., recruitment pipelines, repository and synthesis tools).

How we’ll make your career journey extraordinary

  • Annual personal growth budget and mentorship programs for continuous learning and development
  • Work from anywhere in the world for 30 days per year
  • A hybrid working approach with three days of in office collaboration (Mon, Tue, Thur) and two days of optional at home focus time.
  • Opportunities to collaborate and socialize with team members through quarterly team events and yearly company-wide events
  • Monthly transportation and fitness budget
  • Discounts for you, your friends, and family on GetYourGuide activities
  • Language reimbursement program
  • Health and wellness benefits

And more…
