Role: Veterinary AssistantStatus: Full-timeSalary: Competitive and based on experienceSchedule: 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) with alternating Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

What Our Veterinary Assistants Do

• Safely restrain patients during examinations and treatments using best practices
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment plans
• Ensure hospitalized and boarding patients have clean, comfortable accommodations
• Prepare medications accurately and efficiently
• Update patient records and treatment notes in the medical record system
• Answer phones and assist with client communication
• Communicate with clients regarding their pet's care and treatment plans
• Support daily hospital operations and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What Our Veterinary Assistants Bring

• Minimum of two years of customer service experience preferred
• Experience working with multi-line phone systems is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning and using new software and technology
• Positive attitude and desire to become part of a supportive work family
