What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll help keep communication flowing and the hospital running smoothly while creating a welcoming experience for every client who contacts or visits us.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and patients with professionalism and compassion
- Answering multi-line phones, emails, and client inquiries
- Scheduling appointments and helping manage daily hospital communications
- Processing payments
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Coordinating client referrals and medical record requests
- Maintaining organized patient files and hospital documentation
- Communicating effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Educating clients on hospital services and basic preventive care information
- Supporting daily hospital operations through organization and front desk coordination
- Helping maintain an efficient and welcoming reception area
- Providing thoughtful, responsive client service throughout the day
