Sanford Animal Hospital is looking for a friendly, organized, and reliable Veterinary Receptionist to join our front desk team.

What Our Veterinary Receptionists Do
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’ll help create a positive experience from the moment a client contacts the hospital through the completion of their visit.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting clients and patients with a warm, professional attitude
- Answering phones and managing multiple lines efficiently
- Scheduling appointments
- Helping coordinate the hospital’s daily workflow
- Checking clients and patients in and out
- Processing payments accurately
- Maintaining accurate client and patient records
- Communicating with clients regarding hospital services
- Discussing estimates and coordinating follow-up communication
- Relaying messages between clients and the medical team
- Helping coordinate patient care and client communication
- Supporting veterinarians, technicians, and other team members with front desk communication
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
- Helping keep daily hospital operations moving efficiently
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who understands that veterinary reception requires equal parts customer service, compassion, organization, communication, and multitasking.
Our ideal Veterinary Receptionist brings:
- Previous veterinary or medical office experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliability and professional follow-through
- A positive, team-oriented mindset
- Compassion when communicating with pet owners
- Confidence working with computers and practice management systems
- Experience with EzyVet or similar veterinary software is a plus
- A willingness to jump in and support teammates when needed
