What You’ll Do

• Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures
• Support preventive care, vaccinations, and patient wellness services
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
• Place IV catheters and provide preoperative patient care
• Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, sample collection, and in-house laboratory testing
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
• Maintain accurate patient records and client communications
• Refill medications and review instructions with pet owners
• Assist doctors and technicians with treatments and procedures
• Maintain clean, organized kennel, laundry, and treatment areas
• Restock supplies and support overall hospital operations
• Provide a calm, caring presence for pets and their families

What Our Veterinary Team Members Bring

• Previous Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician experience preferred
• Experience administering medications and handling patients safely
• Strong technical and patient care skills
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
• Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday
• CVT/LVT credentials are a plus but not required
• Dedication to continued learning and professional growth
