Sumter Animal Medical Center Looking for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant role where you can grow and lead? Animal Medical Clinic is searching for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced, high-quality hospital team. What You’ll Do
- Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Support preventative care appointments and vaccine protocols
- Assist with emergency and surgical patient care, including IV catheter placement
- Obtain diagnostics including radiographs, phlebotomy, and laboratory sample collection
- Perform in-house laboratory testing and patient monitoring
- Support veterinarians during exams, procedures, and treatments
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Serve as a mentor and positive resource for fellow team members
What You’ll Bring
- Previous veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience required
- LVT or CVT credentials strongly preferred
- Strong technical and patient care skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Confidence working in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
