We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for storytelling through video and is skilled at transforming raw footage into compelling, high-quality content that engages audiences across multiple digital platforms. You will work closely with content creators, marketing teams, and designers to produce visually appealing videos that align with brand objectives and audience preferences.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands current content trends, and has hands-on experience editing podcasts, short-form social media videos, and marketing content using Adobe's creative tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content for podcasts, interviews, promotional campaigns, product videos, and social media platforms.
• Produce engaging short-form videos, including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other vertical video formats optimized for audience engagement.
• Edit both long-form and short-form podcast episodes by trimming unnecessary sections, improving audio quality, synchronizing video, and adding captions, graphics, and transitions.
• Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and designers to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet creative objectives.
• Enhance videos using motion graphics, text overlays, animations, sound effects, and color correction techniques.
• Optimize videos for different platforms while maintaining consistent branding and visual quality.
• Organize and manage video assets, project files, and media libraries efficiently.
• Stay updated with emerging video editing trends, platform algorithms, and best practices for digital content creation.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed within project deadlines.

Required Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in podcast editing, including multi-camera editing, audio synchronization, noise reduction, and episode polishing.
• Proven expertise in creating engaging Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form social media videos with strong storytelling and pacing.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Audition
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Media Encoder
• Strong understanding of video composition, transitions, pacing, typography, and color grading.
• Experience adding captions, motion graphics, lower thirds, and visual effects to enhance viewer engagement.
• Knowledge of video codecs, export settings, and optimization for multiple digital platforms.

Good to Have

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator or other design software.
• Basic knowledge of motion design and animation principles.
• Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools and automated subtitle generation.
• Experience working with YouTube channels, podcasts, influencers, or digital media brands.
• Understanding of social media content strategies and audience engagement metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Animation, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–6 years of professional experience in video editing or digital content production.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating podcast editing, short-form videos, and creative storytelling.
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a proactive and creative mindset.
