Video Editor (Health & Wellness)

Location: Remote LATAM, Philippines and Eastern Europe.

Schedule: Full-Time with overlap during U.S. business hours

Department: $2,000 to $3,000 USD/ Monthly (Negotiable based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative and fast-paced Video Editor / Short-Form Content Creator who thrives in high-volume content environments. This role goes beyond editing—you'll identify compelling moments, craft attention-grabbing hooks, design thumbnails, and publish engaging content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. 

The ideal candidate understands what makes audiences stop scrolling, has experience editing both long-form and short-form video, and can consistently produce high-quality content at scale while maintaining brand consistency. 

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage.
• Create engaging short-form videos for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Apply pacing, b-roll, captions, motion graphics, sound design, color correction, and visual enhancements. 
• Identify viral moments from long-form content.
• Write compelling hooks, titles, captions, and on-screen text.
• Optimize videos for engagement and platform performance.
• Design high-converting YouTube thumbnails.
• Create supporting graphics while maintaining consistent branding. 
• Upload and schedule content across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Ensure content is formatted according to platform best practices. 
• Monitor trends and recommend new content ideas.
• Analyze top-performing formats and continuously improve creative output. 
• Maintain organized project files, footage libraries, naming conventions, and archives to support an efficient production workflow.

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing Long-form YouTube content and Short-form vertical videos
• Experience editing high-volume social media content.
• Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Adobe After Effects
• Experience creating motion graphics and text animations.
• Strong experience with Photoshop, Figma, Canva
• Strong audio editing skills: Noise reduction, Audio leveling, Music selection, Sound design
• Experience creating captions and subtitles.
• Understanding of YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Shorts best practices.
• Advance English proficiency.
• Reliable internet connection.
• Computer capable of editing 4K footage efficiently. 

Nice-to-Have

• Experience editing health, wellness, or medical content.
• Familiarity with compliance-sensitive messaging.
• Experience using AI editing tools such as: Opus Clip, Descript, ElevenLabs
• Experience editing founder-led or personal brand content.
• Familiarity with paid social media creative and ad variations.
