About This Job
The VP Regional Sales Executive, Clearing Sales is a senior, quota-bearing sales role responsible for sourcing, structuring, and closing new correspondent clearing and custody relationships. This individual will lead complex sales cycles with broker-dealers and hybrid RIAs, serving as a trusted advisor throughout due diligence, conversion, and long-term growth.This role requires direct experience selling clearing, custody, or correspondent services to broker-dealers and/or RIAs.
Responsibilities
- Originate and close new clearing and custody relationships with broker-dealers and hybrid RIAs.
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, solution design, pricing, approvals, onboarding, and conversion.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
- Serve as executive sponsor through due diligence, implementation, and post-launch growth.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to structure profitable and competitive solutions.
- Represent Axos Clearing at industry events and client engagements.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting in Salesforce.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- 8+ years of sales, business development, or relationship management experience within clearing, custody, correspondent services, or broker-dealer infrastructure.
- Proven success selling clearing and/or custody solutions to broker-dealers, introducing broker-dealers, or hybrid RIAs.
- Active Series 7 license.
- Deep knowledge of clearing, custody, correspondent services, and brokerage operations.
- Track record of managing long-cycle, consultative sales processes.
- Strong financial, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Salesforce CRM experience.
- Experience with firms such as Pershing, Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, NFS, Schwab Advisor Services, Apex Clearing, SEI, Raymond James Correspondent Services, or similar providers.
- Existing network of broker-dealer and RIA decision-makers.
- Experience supporting platform conversions and custody migrations.
