Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic hospitality team in Baghdad, Iraq. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and collaborative spirit will be essential as you work to exceed guest expectations in a fast-paced environment.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and seat them in a timely and organized manner
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
• Take accurate food and beverage orders while demonstrating attentiveness to guest preferences and dietary requirements
• Communicate orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service delivery
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and temperature standards
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and respond empathetically to any concerns or special requests
• Process payments accurately using point of sale systems and handle cash transactions with integrity
• Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations and assist colleagues during peak service times
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest questions confidently
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols to ensure a secure dining environment
• Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in adapting to changing priorities and guest needs

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or food and beverage service experience (preferred)
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Physical stamina and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining professional standards
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
• Cash handling experience and basic mathematical skills
• Welcoming, upbeat personality with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest service
• Ability to remain calm, composed, and solution-focused under pressure
