Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Project Lead to join our Talley team in Lenexa, KS!

Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Project Lead is to assist management through oversight and direction of day to day will call operations, including being the primary contact for all will call customers, transacting will call orders, returns, housekeeping of the will call area, and picking all will call orders. Responsibilities also include ensuring will call waiting area is neatly organized and stocked, Project based customer orders are organized accordingly, and the overall function of will call is smooth.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Oversee daily project fulfillment operations, and if needed with Project based accounts, directs staff, manages training, monitors performance and works for improvement
  • With regards to Project based accounts, interfaces with management and quality manager to ensure processes and procedures are being followed, goals and objectives are being met and customer being supported
  • Transacting will call order pickups
  • Handling product returns and exchanges over the counter; working with the Inventory Control
  • Specialist with RGA's ensuring product that is returned is in re-sellable condition
  • Daily housekeeping of all the will call area
  • Picking will call orders
  • Confirming daily all will call orders
  • Scanning all will call orders into Docushare
  • Continued daily help with overall warehouse functions
  • Maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information as required by the Company
  • Display strong work ethic and honesty and adhere to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
  • Engage work with a high sense of urgency and be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • High School or GED - Required
  • Associate’s Degree - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklift, re-roll equipment and office equipment including personal computers and software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • This position requires people skills, a strong goal orientation, superior time management skill and work ethic, and ability to direct staff and work cohesively with peers.
