Job Description:

Join our Team as a: Fabricator / Welder
Location: Omagh

Hours: 39 Hour Week.  Option to work hours over a four or five day week.
 

Join our team at Terex Omagh and embark on an exciting opportunity as we seek a skilled and dedicated experienced Fabricator / Welder to contribute to our Production team.

As a Fabricator / Welder at Terex, based in Omagh, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you’ll do:

• Fabricate and weld components using MIG welding techniques.
• Read and interpret Engineering drawings.
• Ensure high-quality standards in all fabricated parts.
• Inspect Welds for any imperfections or quality issues.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative.
• Meeting set targets whilst working in a production environment.
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement.
• To maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in Welding / Metal fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment and decision-making skill.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance.
• Flexible approach to meet business needs/targets.

Desirable:

Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
