POSITION: Taxation Manager
EXPERIENCE: 3+ Years
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in taxation and be willing to stay up-to-date on evolving tax laws and regulations. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the firm’s tax compliance process – Direct and Indirect Taxation.
- Manage his team to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tax filings. This would involve tax filing as well for the company.
- Provide guidance and advice to the team and other departments on tax matters.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations and educate colleagues and clients on relevant updates
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Work collaboratively with other departments within the firm to identify and address tax-related issues
- Represent the firm in tax-related matters before tax authorities, as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification preferred.
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in taxation.
- Zeal to implement automatization of processes and technology-friendly.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to educate and train colleagues, vendors, and teams on complex tax matters.
