Applicants should apply online at https://jobs.richmond.edu and submit a curriculum vitae, cover letter, a statement of teaching interests and philosophy (approx. 2-5 single-spaced pages), evidence of teaching effectiveness if available (e.g., sample assignments and other course materials, examples of graded student work, peer and student evaluations, etc.), and a description of a research program, including plans for undergraduate involvement (approx. 2-5 single-spaced pages). The teaching statement should detail the applicant’s teaching philosophy and approaches to inclusive pedagogy and mentoring in support of a diverse undergraduate community. Candidates for this position may be asked, at a later date, to provide the names and contact information for three references who will be asked to submit letters of recommendation. Review of applications will commence on October 1 and continue until the position is filled. Please contact Dr. Ted Bunn (ebunn@richmond.edu) with any questions.
