Automotive Porter / Lot Attendant

Position Summary

Cecil Atkission Motors is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Porter to join our team. The Porter plays a key role in maintaining the appearance of dealership facilities and inventory while providing support to the sales and service departments. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in attention to detail, and values teamwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Move and organize vehicles on dealership property.
• Ensure all new and used vehicles are clean, properly displayed, and presentation-ready.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dealership lots, parking areas, and showroom.
• Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer pickups.
• Transport vehicles between dealership locations, service departments, and vendors as needed.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any damage or maintenance concerns.
• Support sales and service teams with various operational tasks.
• Assist in keeping customer waiting areas and dealership facilities clean and welcoming.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, and moving vehicles throughout the day.
• Previous dealership experience is a plus but not required.
