Job Description

We are seeking a driven, highly collaborative, and results-oriented Business Development Officer to drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, securing Total Facility Management (TFM) contracts, and expanding our B2B client portfolio.

The ideal candidate must have cognate experience within the real estate industry, with a good understanding of the real estate and facility management environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying prospective clients, developing business opportunities, supporting proposals and presentations, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct continuous market research to pinpoint upcoming commercial and residential real estate projects, corporate relocations, and new business leads.
  • Pitch Alpha Mead’s comprehensive hard and soft facility management solutions to corporate executives, developers, and property asset managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop and deliver business proposals, presentations, quotations, and other relevant sales materials.
  • Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and business pitches to secure new contracts.
  • Follow up on leads, proposals, and business opportunities to drive conversion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop solutions that meet clients’ real estate and facility management needs.
  • Steer commercial deal negotiations, finalize service level agreements (SLAs), and secure profitable, mutually beneficial contracts with incoming clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of business development activities, leads, prospects, and client interactions.
  • Support the achievement of business development and revenue targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, Estate Management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, or a similar role within a real estate environment.
  • Previous experience working in the real estate industry is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant business development tools.

  • Good understanding of the real estate, property management, and/or facility management sector.
  • Proven experience in lead generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and business development.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
