This position will ensure seamless coordination between our legal team and clients while helping cases move forward efficiently and accurately. Your contributions in this role will directly impact the efficiency, client experience, and overall organization of the firm.
What you’ll do:
- Client and Stakeholder Communication: Handle phone calls and correspondence with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and experts. Provide timely updates to attorneys and ensure deadlines are tracked.
- Legal Assistance: Assist multiple attorneys with administrative tasks and client communication. Transcribe dictations, format and type legal documents, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
- Case Management: Oversee summons and complaints tracking, liaise with marshals, and ensure timely filing with courts.
- Client Intake: Handle phone calls and gather case details for potential new clients, ensuring accurate entry into the system.
- Schedule Management: Maintain and coordinate attorney schedules, ensuring appointments, deadlines, and meetings are organized and up-to-date.
- Document Management: Maintain and organize paper and electronic case files, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and compliance with firm standards.
- Payment Management: Process check requests and ensure the timely and accurate management of payments.
- Office Support: Assist with various office tasks and contribute to maintaining a well-organized, efficient workplace.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: Previous administrative or legal experience is preferred but not required. The firm is open to training the right candidate who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and committed to delivering excellent support.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required. Experience with case management systems is an advantage.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a close-knit team.
- Organization and Task Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, maintain detailed checklists, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:
- Salary is $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience.
