Job Description

We are hiring a Central Rent Clerk to join our centralized operations support team in Denver, CO. If you are looking for your first corporate office opportunity with a consistent schedule so you can enjoy your evenings and weekends, take the first step in your new career with AIR! 

Where You Will Work

Our corporate office is located in the Denver Tech Center. Our office spans the top two floors of the building and features expansive views of the mountains and the downtown skyline. 

AIR values relationships and the benefits from working side by side with teammates, therefore this position will be in-office 5 days a week to support central administrative operations.

What You Will Do

  • Primarily responsible for posting and processing rent payments. Accurately records the receipt of payment and charges applicable fees to the appropriate ledger. Drive and support the printing of final account statements, deposit refunds and mail appropriately. May work directly with current/past residents and/or community team to answer questions or resolve collection related issues. As requested, partners with the Collections department on special projects or assists with final account statements. Drive and support the annual renewal process of operational licenses for properties and processing the renewals within the budgeted month.

Essential Functions: Monitor and ensure accurate posting and reconciliation of assigned accounts. Monitor receipts. Prepare and record financial transitions. Analyze, research and resolve exception items.

Education & Experience: High School education and 1-2 years of related experience in data entry and customer service.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service or administrative experience (retail, hospitality, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize multiple software applications and data entry systems
  • Dependable and proven ability to work independently
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Property management experience a plus

  • Expected pay rate of $22.00-$25.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
