Overview

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications accurately and timely according to physician orders and facility policies.
  • Observe residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to the nursing team.
  • Document medication administration and resident information accurately and completely.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as permitted by certification and facility guidelines.
  • Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor medication supplies and report inventory needs to nursing leadership.
  • Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards at all times.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and requests.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

 

Qualifications

  • Part-Time, PRN
  • Schedule: 2:30p-11p
  • Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
  • Active Certified Medicine Aide License w/ Maryland Board of Nursing
  • Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
