Job Summary

We are seeking a Construction Estimator with 3–10+ years of hands-on experience estimating US-based commercial construction projects.

You will be responsible for performing detailed digital takeoffs, reviewing construction documents, developing accurate cost estimates, and supporting multiple commercial construction scopes. This role requires strong technical drawing interpretation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within established estimating systems and workflows.

You will work directly with US-based business owners and project managers, so strong English communication and professionalism are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed digital quantity takeoffs for commercial construction projects

  • Prepare accurate material, labor, and overall project cost estimates

  • Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scope documents

    • Heavy equipment

    • Metal studs and metal framing

    • Brick and block masonry

    • Stucco and exterior finishes

    • Other commercial construction trades as required

  • Use industry-standard estimating platforms such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and On-Screen Takeoff (OST)

  • Organize and manage estimating workflow according to client systems and processes

  • Coordinate with US-based business owners and project managers regarding project scope and requirements

  • Meet estimating deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy

  • Review estimates for completeness and accuracy before submission

  • Adapt to different project types, scopes, and client-specific estimating procedures

Required Qualifications

  • 3–10+ years of direct construction estimating experience

  • Demonstrated experience estimating US-based construction projects

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

    • On-Screen Takeoff (OST)

  • Strong understanding of US construction standards and estimating practices

  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to estimate accuracy

  • Fully fluent English, both written and verbal

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating directly with US-based clients

  • Dedicated availability for 40 hours/week during US Central Time business hours

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with US contractors, project managers, general contractors, or business owners

  • Experience working within multiple client-specific estimating systems and workflows

  • Proven ability to handle high-volume estimating with quick turnaround requirements

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Strong hands-on experience with complex commercial scope takeoffs

  • Ability to move quickly without compromising estimate accuracy

  • Advanced knowledge of Bluebeam, PlanSwift, and/or OST

  • Solid understanding of US construction methods, materials, and pricing
