The Opportunity   Job classification: A5903 - Administrative Assistant I # of positions: 1 Hourly Rate: $24.24 - $29.85 Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity.  Position End Date: December 15, 2026 Deadline to apply: Until position is filled Reporting to the Supervisor, Quality and Strategic Initiatives, and working closely with the Administrator, Quality and Curriculum, this position provides temporary administrative support for the School of Health and Public Safety’s quality and curriculum processes. This is an entry-level position that provides a good opportunity to learn about post-secondary operations and systems, while further developing your administrative skills.  The successful candidate has strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint), D2L, and Adobe Acrobat, and the capacity to learn other software programs used within SAIT and the School of Health and Public Safety. This temporary role will primarily support curriculum-related processes, including implementing course change requests, loading course resources, and facilitating faculty access to the learning management system, while also supporting other administrative functions such as records management, documentation control, and reporting activities.
