The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Earthworks Construction Supervisor| Επιβλέπων Κατασκευαστικών Έργων”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will report to the Open Pit Manager, of the Open Pit Mining Department in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:  

• Supervise daily construction activities on site, ensuring alignment with engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, method statements, and construction plans.
• Monitor project progress against schedule and report any deviations or delays.
• Ensure proper allocation and efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Conduct site inspections to verify quality of works and ensure compliance with standards.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental procedures across all construction activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues arising during construction works.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and updates.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and documentation of work progress.

Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s  Degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related engineering discipline; Polytechnic degree would be considered an asset.
• Minimum Technological Institute degree.
• Professional certifications in construction management are considered an advantage.
• 1- 3 years minimum experience in construction projects, preferably in infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale developments.
• Previous supervisory or site management experience is required.
• Experience in coordinating contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record of working under strict safety and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with construction planning and scheduling tools.
• Available for 24/7 rotating shift work.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic and fast-paced environments.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Valid driving license.
