Job Description

  • Supervise the daily operation and maintenance of all electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors during electrical maintenance and installation projects.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and technical documentation.
  • Support energy conservation initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
  • Train, coach, and motivate Engineering team members while promoting a strong safety culture.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations when required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in electrical maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, generators, transformers, UPS, lighting controls, and building services.
  • Good understanding of preventive maintenance programs and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and emergency call-outs when required.
  • Good command of English is an advantage.
