Position Details

Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Talend Developer to design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Talend Data Integration tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with large datasets, building scalable data pipelines, and ensuring data integrity and quality across complex systems.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Talend (Open Studio / Talend Data Fabric).
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
• Extract data from a variety of sources (databases, flat files, APIs, cloud platforms) and load into target systems (data warehouses, Snowflake, etc.).
• Optimize and troubleshoot ETL workflows for performance and reliability.
• Implement data quality checks, transformations, and validations.
• Monitor daily ETL processes and proactively resolve issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.
• Support data migration and integration projects from legacy systems to modern platforms.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Talend (preferably Talend Data Integration or Talend Big Data).
• Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Proficient in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
