Company Description
We are looking for someone to join our team as Field Service Technician.
The Field Service Technician provides on-site service including preventative maintenance, calibration, installation, repairs and training across all product lines.
Job Description
- Providing technical support to customers via telephone and email.
- Performing on-site troubleshooting, service and repairs.
- Evaluating malfunctioning instruments and preparing estimates for the cost of repair.
- Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).
- Provide on-site training to the customers
- Completing administrative tasks associated with the CRM Service module as to log all Support Ticket and Service Orders in the CRM Service.
- Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock.
- Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.
- Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.
Qualifications
- Good communication skills and strong customer service skills are a must for this position.
- Direct experience in the analytical instruments field is a plus.
- This position requires a highly motivated individual that is capable of completing assigned tasks with little to no supervision.
- This position requires a technical degree in Electronics or Mechanics, Chemistry, Physics, or another technical discipline. Bachelor degree and/or engineering degree in the related areas are a plus.
- The ability to work with electronic schematics, test equipment, and tools for repairs is required.
- Preferred candidates will have at least three years’ experience in troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining complex analytical instruments.
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport.
- This position requires up to 50% travelling time.
