What’s the job?
We are currently looking for a HR Administrator to join our HR team in Castlepollard, Westmeath. Reporting to the HR Manager, your role is central to building a strong, values-driven workplace. You’re not just supporting HR operations—you’re helping shape a culture where people thrive.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in all areas of HR. The ideal candidate will be used to working in a busy office environment, be HR qualified and have previous experience in a HR role.
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Recruitment Administration; creating advertisements, scheduling interviews, reference checks, etc
- Onboarding and Induction of new starters
- Updating HRIS system
- HR administration in relation to employee records & employee correspondence
- Dealing with Social Welfare and related forms
- Responding to HR related queries and requests
- Administrative support for HR projects
- Administration of training and development activities
- Support Wellness and Social initiatives and activities
- Reporting monthly HR metrics
- Providing support to managers, including guidance in relation to HR policies and procedures
What are we looking for?
- Ideally a HR qualification or working towards same
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Great communicator with a flexible, optimistic and professional approach.
- Experience of using social media in a professional capacity
