Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IND Performance Test Engineer to join our Infrastructure team at Hartford Global Services Private Limited. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our critical infrastructure systems through meticulous planning, execution, and analysis of performance tests.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios for various infrastructure components, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments.
* Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and scalability issues within complex infrastructure setups.
* Utilize a variety of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, k6) to simulate realistic user loads and stress conditions.
* Monitor system performance during testing using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and other relevant monitoring platforms.
* Analyze test results, generate detailed performance reports, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Collaborate closely with development, operations, and architecture teams to understand system requirements, design changes, and performance goals.
* Implement and maintain performance testing frameworks and best practices.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance testing processes and methodologies.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging performance engineering trends, tools, and technologies.
* Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning initiatives.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering, specifically with infrastructure components.
* Strong proficiency in designing and executing performance tests using industry-standard tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, k6).
* In-depth understanding of various performance metrics (response time, throughput, latency, resource utilization) and their impact on system performance.
* Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
* Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking protocols, and database concepts.
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and performance testing in cloud environments is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for test automation and data analysis.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Certifications in performance testing or cloud technologies are a plus.
