Purpose 
Reporting to the Talent & Workforce Lead, the Indigenous Workforce Advisor is responsible for advancing the organization's Indigenous workforce strategy by attracting, developing, and retaining Indigenous talent. The role leads Indigenous employment initiatives, fosters meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities and organizations, and supports the creation of an inclusive workplace that promotes long-term employment, career development, and workforce participation. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
• Identify workforce requirements and Indigenous employment opportunities.  
• Partner with operational leaders on Indigenous workforce planning.  
• Develop initiatives that increase indigenous participation across all areas of the business.  
• Develop and maintain an Indigenous talent pipeline aligned with current and future workforce requirements.  
• Build and Maintain relationships with Indigenous Community representatives.  
• Liaise with educational institutions, employment agencies, and training providers on programs and initiatives related 
to Indigenous employment 
• Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to identify indigenous talent.  
• Support candidates through the recruitment and onboarding process.  
• Promote inclusive hiring practices and improve candidate experience.  
• Identify and evaluate Indigenous career fairs, recruitment events, and networking opportunities to strengthen 
indigenous talent pipeline.  
• Coordinate with Communications team to ensure Indigenous recruitment efforts are being highlighted on social media and other communication channels. 
• Lead the development, coordination, and continuous improvement of the Musselwhite Academy as a key workforce development initiative.  
• Build on existing Indigenous employment, student, apprenticeship, internship and trades readiness programs to 
create sustainable career pathways.  
• Identify opportunities to introduce new workforce development programs that support current and future operational needs.  
• Mentor and support Musselwhite Academy participants throughout the program, promoting engagement, development, and successful completion.  
• Develop and distribute recruitment branding materials to promote the Musselwhite Academy.  
• Provide updates to internal and external stakeholders

• Track conversion rates of Musselwhite Academy employees into full-time employees  
• Track Indigenous employment and training metrics.  
• Track Indigenous contractor head count metrics and report monthly. 
• All other relevant duties assigned by the Talent & Workforce Lead. 
 
Requirements: 
• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
• Degree or Diploma in HR, Business Administration, Indigenous Studies, Social Work, Education or related fields. 
• At least 2 years’ experience working directly with Indigenous communities and organizations. 
• Experience in mining, oil and gas or other heady industry considered an asset. 
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. 
• Conflict resolution and facilitation skills.  
• Proficient with MS Office products suite. 

Working Conditions: 
• The Musselwhite Mine is a fly-in/fly-out operation. The schedule for this position will consist of 4 days on and 3 days off, working 10 hours per day. 
 
Compensation: 
• The base salary range for this position is CAD$104,000 – $115,000 per year, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications 
• This role is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual short term incentive program. The target annual bonus for this position is 15% of base salary, subject to individual and company performance 
• The Company offers a Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCPP), including an automatic 5% employer contribution, with the option for employees to receive up to an additional 4% employer match on employee contributions
