Job Description:

About the Role

We are searching for the best talent for Business Intelligence Analyst.

Purpose

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining data platforms used by Johnson & Johnson colleagues across the APAC region. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business-critical data through master data management, data quality monitoring, user acceptance testing (UAT), and platform enhancement activities. The position also delivers business reporting and analytical insights that enable data-driven decision making, strategic planning, and business performance management.

Responsibilities / Principal Duties

APAC Harmonized Data Analytics Platform Management

  • Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the APAC data analytics platform to ensure data quality and reliable reporting.
  • Perform master data management, data validation, and data quality monitoring activities to maintain data integrity and consistency.
  • Investigate and resolve data- and system-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Support user adoption through training, communications, and ongoing end-user support.
  • Participate in system enhancement initiatives, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement projects.
  • Manage and maintain regular data operations, including manual data handling, file uploads, and process ownership activities.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams by translating business requirements and unmet needs into actionable enhancement requests.

Business Reporting and Insights

  • Prepare and update monthly business reports using the latest available data for leadership teams and commercial stakeholders.
  • Validate reporting outputs to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Provide analytical insights and recommendations to support business planning and performance management.
  • Coordinate follow-up actions and stakeholder communications related to reporting outputs and findings.

Ad-hoc Data Analysis

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses using internal and external datasets to address business questions and support decision making.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Develop data-driven recommendations that support commercial and operational business objectives.

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance standards, and applicable business procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting efficiency, data reliability, and user experience.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of processes, data definitions, and reporting methodologies.

Qualifications / Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, reporting, data management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Experience working with large datasets and managing complex data processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using data visualization and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
  • Fluent Korean and business-level English communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting regional or global data and analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge of master data management (MDM), data governance, and data quality frameworks.
  • Experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system enhancement projects.
  • Exposure to pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or consumer health industries.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data querying tools is preferred.
