Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Product Specialist – Trauma.

Purpose:

The Product Specialist – Trauma is responsible for driving business growth, customer engagement, and market development across the Trauma portfolio within the assigned territory. This role partners closely with healthcare professionals to deliver clinical and commercial value, while building strong customer relationships and ensuring effective utilisation of MedTech solutions that improve patient outcomes.

The position plays a critical role in achieving territory performance objectives through strategic account management, product expertise, customer education, and execution excellence.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and executing effective territory plans to achieve sales targets, market share growth, and customer development objectives within the assigned territory
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with orthopaedic surgeons, healthcare professionals, hospitals, and key stakeholders to drive product adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Providing product demonstrations, clinical support, and in-service education to ensure appropriate understanding and utilisation of the Trauma portfolio
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for assigned products by maintaining a strong understanding of product applications, clinical benefits, and competitive positioning
  • Gathering and analysing market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive information to identify business opportunities and address emerging market challenges
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support promotional activities, product initiatives, account strategies, and commercial objectives
  • Managing specialty accounts effectively through regular engagement, opportunity development, issue resolution, and implementation of corrective actions where necessary
  • Maintaining accurate sales reporting, customer records, and business updates while ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and Johnson & Johnson Credo values

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline
  • 1–3 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or related industry
  • Fresh graduates with a Pharmacy background or relevant healthcare experience are encouraged to apply
  • Strong interest in medical technology, orthopaedics, trauma care, and healthcare solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and respond effectively to customer needs
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory and provide customer support as required

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
