Fusion Sleep is an accredited, independent medical practice that is 100% dedicated to sleep medicine. Our expert team of experienced physicians are board certified in sleep medicine and focus on disease prevention and management.


We are currently seeking driven, goal oriented professionals to join our team of Patient Advocates in our Alpharetta, GA location. This role requires you to live in Georgia and commute to our office in Alpharetta, GA.


What you'll do

  • Verifying and updating patient demographics and insurance verification.
  • Communicating with providers to facilitate smooth flow of the clinic.. 
  • Scheduling patient appointments in person and telemed. 
  • Determining patients' financial responsibility; including preparation of financial agreements and proper estimates for future services. 
  • Collecting copayments. . 
  • Assisting patients with questions regarding account balances, benefits or general insurance inquiries. 
  • Pulling next day's patient charts and organizing per scheduled appointment time. 
  • Preparing new patient charts. 
  • Maintaining inventory of all front office supplies. 
  • Performing and/or assisting with other administrative duties and projects as assigned. 
  • Generating fee tickets and daily close responsibilities. 
  • Responding to patient emails and calls.
  • Actively participates in corporate innovation, change management and identification and implementation of industry best practices.


Qualifications

  • One (1) year of experience working in a medical/clinic setting is preferred. 
  • Minimum of two (2) years of general clerical experience. 
  • Entry level Medical Assistant is preferred. 
  • Sleep Medicine or Respiratory Care experience is preferred.
  • Care Cloud Practice Management is preferred. 
  • EMR system experience is required.
  • Must be a team player and uphold FusionSleep’s Core Values and Fundamentals.
  • Must be personable and treat patients with care and respect. 
  • Ability to truly multi-task with accuracy; strong organizational skills. 
  • Must be both flexible and reliable. 
  • Professional appearance and demeanor. 
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving required. 
  • Ability to address multiple ongoing challenges. 
  • Exceptional customer service skills. 
  • Basic PC skills with a proficiency in Google Drive.
