Strong communication and leadership in technical domains with the ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical teams and business stakeholders facilitate design discussions and drive consensus on key technical decisions

Job Description

Design and own the endtoend solution architecture for Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations ensuring that the architecture covers all layers user experience application logic data integration infrastructure and meets the enterprises business objectives and technical standards

Develop and maintain a technical architecture blueprint and roadmap for the B2B Commerce platform outlining how the system will evolve with new features integrations and increasing scale Ensure that shortterm project decisions align with the longterm vision for a scalable and maintainable commerce platform

Lead the architectural design of the B2B commerce storefront on Salesforce Experience Cloud Lightning communities including structuring page templates designing navigationinformation architecture and leveraging Lightning Web Components or LWR templates to provide an engaging and performant buyer experience

Integrate Salesforce B2B Commerce with enterprise systems eg ERP for productmaster data and inventory Salesforce CPQ for quoting processes OMS for fulfillment payment and tax services SSOidentity providers for user authentication by defining robust integration strategies and data flows Choose appropriate integration patterns realtime APIs batch jobs middleware etc to ensure reliable secure and efficient data exchange across systems

Provide technical leadership during development review and guide detailed solution designs from development teams to ensure they align with the overall architecture and Salesforce best practices When necessary produce reference implementations or proofofconcepts to validate new approaches or technologies

Ensure nonfunctional requirements performance security scalability fault tolerance are considered at every stage of design and implementation Architect solutions with high availability and optimal performance in mind planning for large data volumes and peak load scenarios typical of B2B commerce operations

Drive platform evolution and innovation by staying abreast of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud product updates and industry trends Proactively evaluate and recommend the adoption of new Salesforce features or thirdparty technologies that could enhance the solution and plan the introduction of these enhancements while minimizing disruption

Act as the primary technical liaison among crossfunctional teams business stakeholders project managers developers QA infrastructure teams Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure all parties have a clear understanding of the architecture through effective communication and documentation

Establish and enforce technical governance for the B2B Commerce platform define coding standards design guidelines and best practices for the team lead architecture and code review sessions to ensure consistency quality and adherence to securitycompliance requirements across all devs
