The School Receptionist is a ten (10) month contractual employee paid in twenty-six (26) equal biweekly installments. This role requires annual ratification by Chief and Band Council and operates under the direction of School Administration.
The School Receptionist supports the daily operations of the school office and ensures effective communication and administrative support for students, staff, families, and leadership.
The School Receptionist shall:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the school
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and visitors
- Support attendance tracking and reporting
- Maintain student records and documentation: MSS (MySchoolSask) registrations and withdrawals, requesting and sending cumulative files as required
- Assist with correspondence, and communications
- Provide administrative support to in-school Administrators
- Maintain office organization and filing systems
- Support communication with families and community
Qualifications:
- Administrative or office experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office software
- Experience working in a school setting (asset)
- Clean Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid/CPR certification (asset)
- Clean driverβs license/abstract (asset)
