Software Engineer/Sr Software Engineer (.Net Core and AWS)

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using .NET Core/C#.

• Build, deploy, and support cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to engineering best practices and coding standards.

• Develop and execute unit tests and contribute to test automation efforts to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance.

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and technical problem-solving to drive continuous improvement.

• Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve production issues with a strong focus on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

• Utilize ADO/Jira for sprint planning, tracking, and execution, and Confluence for technical documentation and knowledge sharing.

• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from design and development through deployment and production support, as a strong individual contributor.

What You Will Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech.) or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2-9 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions.

What You May Need to be Successful:

• Strong experience with .NET Core / C#

• Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.)

• Solid understanding and practical experience in unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, etc.)

• Exposure to test automation frameworks and practices

• Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum teams

• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

• Strong fundamentals in:
  - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  - Data Structures and Algorithms
  - Design Principles and Patterns
  - RESTful APIs and Microservices concepts
  - Good problem-solving and debugging skill

Good to Have (Nice-to-Have Skills):

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of docker and containerization

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)

• Experience with performance optimization and monitoring

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications

• Use AI tools optimally for development tasks
