Supply Chain Consultant – Client Engagement & Growth

About the role

Miebach Consulting is seeking an ambitious and client-oriented Supply Chain Consultant to join our growing North American team.

This role is designed for someone with approximately 5–10 years of experience in supply chain, consulting, operations, planning, logistics, or a related field. You will bring your existing supply chain knowledge to client conversations while expanding your skills in strategic problem solving, relationship building, consulting, and business development.

You do not need to be an established sales leader or a recognized industry expert. We are looking for someone with strong potential—someone who is driven, curious, comfortable speaking with clients, and eager to grow into broader client and commercial responsibilities.

You will work closely with experienced consultants and leaders to support client engagements, participate in workshops and presentations, contribute to proposals, identify opportunities, and help develop long-term client relationships. This is a hands-on role for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, learn quickly, and take ownership.

The role will involve approximately 40–60% travel, depending on client and project requirements, and will provide significant exposure to clients, industries, and supply chain challenges across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement

• Participate in client meetings, workshops, interviews, and presentations.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
• Understand client challenges and connect them to relevant supply chain solutions.
• Communicate confidently with clients while continuing to develop executive presence.
• Support strong client experiences throughout an engagement.

Supply Chain Consulting

• Apply your knowledge of one or more supply chain areas—such as planning, logistics, operations, procurement, or network design—to client challenges.
• Contribute to analyses, recommendations, workshops, and presentations.
• Support project teams in developing practical and strategic solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliver high-quality results.
• Broaden your exposure to different industries, supply chain topics, and consulting approaches.

Business Development and Growth

• Support proposals, RFP responses, client presentations, and opportunity discussions.
• Help identify potential opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Participate in industry networking and client development activities.
• Learn how to connect client needs with Miebach’s capabilities.
• Develop commercial and account-development skills through coaching and hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–10 years of professional experience in supply chain, consulting, operations, logistics, planning, procurement, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of one or more supply chain domains and the ability to discuss them strategically.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable speaking with clients and presenting ideas.
• Strong business curiosity and problem-solving capabilities.
• Willingness to learn and expand beyond your current area of expertise.
• Ambition to grow into broader consulting, client leadership, and business development responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40–60%, depending on client and project requirements.
